Bookkeeping & financial analysis · South Florida
Reconciled accounts, clean categorization, and financial statements delivered on a set date — so you always know where the business stands. Remote, flat monthly fee, no payroll to run.
Services
Whether the books are current and just need maintaining, or nobody has touched them in a year, the starting point is the same — finding out where things actually stand.
Every bank and card account reconciled, transactions categorized against rules built for your vendors, and a profit & loss and balance sheet delivered on the same date each month. No chasing, no surprises at tax time.
Books behind by months or years get rebuilt forward from your last filed return. Accounts reconciled in order, stale balances cleared, and a written summary of what was found and fixed — handed off ready for your CPA.
Numbers you can act on. Profitability by job, crew, or vehicle. Budget against actual. Margin trends explained in plain language, so the monthly report answers questions instead of raising them.
Pricing
You are not billed hourly. Each tier is a fixed monthly fee for a defined set of deliverables, and the range within a tier reflects transaction volume and number of accounts.
$300–400 / month
Best for solo owners and small operators who handle their own invoicing.
$400–700 / month
Best for growing businesses that want the numbers explained, not just delivered.
$800+ / month
Best for established or multi-entity businesses that need a finance function, not a bookkeeper.
Cleanup is quoted separately. If the books need to be brought current before ongoing work begins, that is a one-time project with its own fixed price, quoted after a review of the file. Starting a monthly service on top of unresolved books does not serve either of us.
How it works
Four steps, and you know the price before any work begins.
A short call about how the business runs, where the books stand, and what is taking up your time.
You grant read-only access. I assess the current state and come back with what I found and what it would take to fix. No charge.
A fixed monthly fee, defined deliverables, and a separate quote for any cleanup. Nothing starts until it is in writing.
Chart of accounts set up, bank feeds connected, close calendar agreed. Then the books run on schedule.
About
I'm Alec Habicht, and Alco Accounting is my practice. When you hire me, I am the person doing your books — not an account manager handing the work to someone you never meet.
I work in QuickBooks Online every day, and I hold a bachelor's degree in finance from Florida State University and a master's in finance from Florida Atlantic University. That background shapes how I approach the job. Reconciling accounts is the baseline. The part that matters is what the numbers tell you afterward: which work actually made money, where margin is slipping, and whether cash is going to be there next quarter.
Most owners I talk to are not looking for someone to categorize transactions. They are looking for books they can trust and a straight answer when they ask a question about them. That is what I built this to do.
I work remotely with businesses across South Florida on a flat monthly fee — no payroll to run, no employer taxes, no long-term contract.
